What We Do
The mission of Move United, founded in 1956, is to provide national leadership and opportunities for individuals with disabilities to develop independence, confidence, and fitness through participation in community sports, recreation and educational programs. Through a nationwide network of over 220 local organization in 45 states and DC, Move United serves over 125,000 youth, wounded warriors and adults each year. Move United publishes Move United magazine, the leading adaptive sports magazine three times a year, which is available free of charge.
