Ingrid Falanco is the Owner and CEO of Barehouse Brand, a company dedicated to creating adaptive solutions that blend function and style. After recognizing the need for a versatile, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing assistive tool, Ingrid designed and developed The HandyBand—a patented adaptive wristband that helps individuals with limited hand function, weak grip, or hand injuries.
The HandyBand is a soft, flexible band worn on the hand or wrist that securely holds everyday items such as utensils, grooming tools, or writing instruments. Its unique design offers independence and ease to people living with conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, arthritis, cerebral palsy, ALS, Multiple Sclerosis, or stroke-related challenges. Unlike bulky or single-use adaptive devices, The HandyBand is both functional and stylish, empowering users to engage in daily tasks with confidence.
